We came a across a great article in a Turkish Newspaper today called the Tourism Travel Vacation which featured the amazing Greek Island of Mykonos and the recent launch of a new Chic boutique, called The Linea Piu Boutique.

The recently launched boutique is located in the heart of Chora village in Mykonos and accommodates some of the highest end women’s wear brands in the luxury retail market like Chanel, Tom Ford, John Galliano and Blumarine, and will probably become a major ‘ tourist attraction’ in no time.   Click here to Read more on the Mykonos Experience article

Earlier this month Cyprus Airways started new seasonal service from its base in Larnaca (LCA) Cyprus to the famous Greek Island Mykonos (JMK) to be served with the Airbus A320 aircraft.  This new flight will bring more visitors to the already popular Greek Island through out the summer season.  For Mykonos Activities visit Mykonos X.

When some one first thinking of traveling to Mykonos almost always beaches come to mind. Yes there is the party scene, the sunsets, the beautiful people and the amazing weather, but what is a vacation with out a great beach?   Paradise Beach in Mykonos is a world famous beach and not just for the sand and sun.  The hippies of the 60′s first made this Greek Beach famous and today still retains it’s “anything goes” attitude featuring both Gays and Straights alike.

Paradise Beach is easily accessible from Mykonos Town via scheduled buses. In addition you can also reach the beach by boat originating from Platys Gialos Beach or Ornos Beach.  Finally for the more adventurous traveler, there is a footpath from Paraga Beach which will take you about ten minutes to walk.  The beach boasts unisex bathrooms, pool parties and great DJ’s daily bring you great house music creating an amazing party scene till way after sunset each every day in the summer.

Aside it’s vibrant nightlife and beautiful beaches, Mykonos is famous for its vast sandy beaches.   Many have the coveted Blue Flag making them some of the best in the world.  North of Mykonos town you will find Tourlos and Aghios Stefanos which boast wonderful beaches on the West Coast of the Island.  South of Mykonos Town are another two beaches in the island, Ornos and Aghios Ioannis which are some of the busiest on this bustling Island.

Other great options are Platis Gialos and Psarou and offer a water taxi to the most popular beaches of Mykonos which are Paradise and Super Paradise where both young and old flock to party till sunset.  Some other great beach options on the island of Mykonos that are worth day tripping to are Paragka, Elia, Kalo Livadi and Panormos to name a few.
